Egyptian Engineering Agencies, in partnership with Cochran U.K., is proud to announce its role in providing a turnkey steam supply solution for the MAFI Food Complex, the largest agricultural food industries complex in the Middle East. The $300 million project, located in Sadat City, spans 154,000 square meters and includes five advanced factories. It is designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, setting a new standard for sustainability and efficiency in the region. The contract signing ceremony was attended by Ahmed Abou Hashima, Founder and Chairman of MAFI, Karim Dayoub,  CEO of Egyptian Engineering Agencies, and Eng. Marc Dayoub, Sales Director and Board Member of Egyptian Engineering Agencies. Key Highlights of the MAFI Food Complex:

  • Scale: The largest food complex of its kind in the Middle East.
  • Economic Impact: Over 7,000 direct and indirect jobs created.
  • Sustainability: Designed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
  • Global Reach: 80% of production will be exported.
  • Innovation: Includes Egypt’s largest orange concentrate and tomato production plants, a state-of-the-art freeze-drying facility, and the Middle East’s first Cloudy Products plant.
Our Role in the Project: In collaboration with Cochran U.K., we will supply tailored steam systems producing 60 tons/hr of steam that are critical to the complex’s operations. These systems will ensure high efficiency, sustainability, and reliability, supporting the complex’s advanced manufacturing processes. This partnership showcases our commitment to delivering innovative solutions that drive economic growth and elevate Egypt’s position as a leader in agricultural food production.
