As part of our partnership with Cochran U.K., we were selected to deliver a turnkey steam solution for the MAFI Food Complex in Sadat City. This $300 million project is the largest agricultural food industries complex in the Middle East. Covering 154,000 square meters and including five advanced manufacturing facilities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ahmed Abou Hashima, founder and chairman of MAFI, Karim Dayoub, CEO of EEA, and Marc Dayoub, Sales Director and Board Member. It marked a key milestone in Egypt’s industrial development.

The MAFI project is a prime example of steam systems for food processing built for continuous operation. But what truly sets it apart is its scale and ambition. It is designed to achieve the LEED Gold certification, which necessitates a strong focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

MAFI Food Complex is also expected to make a significant economic impact:
