Heat Recovery systems capture excess heat from a variety of industrial processes, converting it into “free” steam or hot water that can be repurposed within your facility or sold externally, for example, to nearby businesses or residential developments. Cochran’s Heat Recovery boilers are highly adaptable, suitable for both steam and hot water applications, and are engineered to work alongside numerous heat-generating systems, including gas turbines, reciprocating engines, incinerators, gasifiers, and other process heating equipment.
The ST95 packaged heat recovery steam boiler from Cochran is designed to offer high efficiency and flexibility in heat recovery applications. Available in single, twin, or triple stream configurations, it is constructed in accordance with BS EN 12953 and complies with multiple safety and operational standards, including the Factories Act (1961) and BG01 guidance from SAFED and the CEA. Additionally, the ST95 is certified with UKCA, UKNI+CE, or CE markings to meet the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), as well as Low Voltage, Electro-Magnetic Compliance, and Machinery Safety Directives.
During manufacturing, the boiler undergoes inspection by a leading independent insurance company, along with Cochran’s own ISO 9001-compliant quality control.
